Paulownia

Paulownia Hybrid-cold – a selected hybrid of Paulownia fortuneiXPaulownia elongata. Very intensively growing. Requires regular irrigation 1-2 years until established. It has very low branching activity and forms straight pole and compact tree crown. Suitable for high quality timber plantations. In wormer climates it can reach up to 15 meters height in 6-7 years.

Paulownia hybrid clone 41-4 – a selected hybrid of Paulownia tomentosaXPaulownia fortune. Extremely coldhardy and drought resistant. It grows faster than the wild type P.tomentosa and forms less branches and therefore less knots in the timber. Forms straight pole and compact tree crown. It lignifies faster the first year.

We can offer Paulownia trees in two stages:

• One year old saplings – very well developed and strong root system suitable for direct field-planting;
• Young plants – “in vitro” produced seedlings in 77 cell trays from our greenhouses.
